Annual Golf Tournament Supports Special Olympics Kansas Athletes

Stanion Wholesale Electric Co. recently completed its Charity Golf Classic to benefit Special Olympics Kansas (SOKS). Stanion, its valued employees, customers and vendors came together to enjoy a fabulous day of weather and great golf, raising an impressive $85,000.

Bekah Henderson, SOKS athlete from Topeka, was present to provide the first putt on Hole #1 at Falcon Lakes Golf Course for the teams participating. Henderson will be competing in the 2022 USA Games in powerlifting.

“We were all extremely happy to be able to resume our annual charity golf tournament in support of Special Olympics Kansas the year” said Marc Stinson, Vice President of Sales. “We had another successful tournament that raised $85,000. We are very grateful to all of our sponsors, participants, and everyone that contributed to this year’s event. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
