Grace Technologies - Testing Voltage Quickly and Safely

electrician-using-voltage-test-stationWith the new year brings some new partnerships. Stanion has partnered with Grace Technologies to bring you some exciting new products. One product I would like to bring to your attention, if you do not know about it already, is the VTS (Voltage Test Station). We here at Stanion are excited to be able to offer this product to our customers.

Introducing the Voltage Test Station

You might be asking, what does this Voltage Test Station do? It provides a safer way to verify the absence or presence of voltage within a panel. The VTS combines Grace Technologies voltage indicator and Safe-TestPoint™ voltage portal within a GracePort® housing. This has a voltage range of 40-600 VAC and 30-600 VDC. The VTS provides safe access through closed doors to the panel. It is touch-safe rated. With a lockable clear cover, this provides a means for a visual verification of de-energized voltage and a meter voltage check. Through a meter check you can obtain a measurement of AC/DC voltage through either phase-to-phase or phase-to-ground. If you are like me, you are more of a visual person and would like to see a video demonstrating how the VTS works. Well, you are in luck.  There is a great video that shows a demo of how the VTS works, and here is the link -  VTS Demo Video. This product is easier to install than similar products. It even has a smaller installation manual compared to its competitor.

Case Study

There is a case study from Wastewater Utility that shows the benefits they discovered while using the VTS. The VTS allowed for a quick installation because it can be mounted next to the motor control center, so no need to modify your motor control center. It required less time when it came to testing and resetting the station, which leads to increased productivity. The case study is provided: Case Study.

Data Sheet

You probably still have questions, right? I know I did. Like, what is the value of the VTS? Where do I install the VTS on my equipment? What are some more features? Well, there is a data sheet that I recommend checking out. It has answers to most of your questions you might have. Here is a link to the data sheet mentioned: VTS Data Sheet.

Branding

Wouldn’t it be cool to add your logo onto this product? Well, Grace Technologies even has that as an option! Another option is to get it in a horizontal or a vertical mount, depending on what works best in the space you have. It comes in three UL types. The UL types are 12, 4, and 4X. With all the different options there is surely one to meet your needs.
